Alton PRIDE's 21th annual Chocolate Festival – Dec. 3, 2022

Alton PRIDE's annual Chocolate Festival was initiated in 2001 to commemorate the 1888 birth of native son and candy confectioner Russell Stover.  

$3,845 is the total cash baking contest payout for 19 of the 21 years that the Chocolate Festival has been held.  (Records for 2 years are unavailable.)
